There have been an overwhelming number of note-worthy new releases over the past couple of weeks. So with my final exams and semester finally over, I'm excited that I'll have more time for styling and pairing. 75% of the time I'm wearing skin made by my husband for our brand CHANGING FACEZ & SaVy SKINS, but even before Tai started making skin I was a DEVOUT Beauty Avatar Couture girl. And as they've transitioned to Glam Affair and become even more wildly popular, I've still purchased their skins that suited my shapes faithfully. "Layla" has a lovely face; she's basically "Mary's" younger, more sophisticated little sister. She looks STUNNING paired with Truth's latest release "Teshan" that I think is youthful and beautiful; the way the waves frame the face is PERFECTION...

The clothes are pretty simple, but I'm in love with every piece.

The cardigan is from Willow; I've complimented Weezy time and time again on her work and how delicate and soft her items look. The detailing on the sleeves and the pretty ruffles at the hem are really special, and I love this shade of blue. I knew immediately I wanted to contrast the cardi with the edginess of House Of Hucci's latest bikini top; the pop of animal print peeking from underneath and the strong gold neck really add interest to the look. I'm so in love with the new platform pumps from J's, and they are IDENTICAL to the new rl Louboutin's. They're simple, but sexy and versatile. And lastly, the clutch is new from LoQ; they've recently released several new bags in different sizes, and as usual the detailing and texturing is FAB...

Teams have been formed, and I'm excited to see what these DYNAMIC designers and models come up with for the main events. And I want it on RECORD that when I got to make suggestions for team pairings, that I did put Vero Modero and Ranena Olivier Couture together. I am so in love with this dress, where do I begin. 'Puma' is sophisticated and highly detailed; the structural collar calls attention to the neckline, while the rouching and ruffles drag the eye down the frame. It's the perfect length, and the color (which I like to think of as fire engine red) is show stopping. And what's better than a feminine, red, ruffley cocktail number? Juxtaposing it against a masculine, classic fedora takes it to that next level. ROC has released these new hats as part of their male line, but wearing male items has always been ok in my opinion. Style is style, and Ranena has constructed some of the most perfect fedora's on the grid. It would be who of you to grab a few for summer; not only are they super-chic, they're affordable...

For as long as I can remember, I've been madly in love with FASHION. The idea of dressing and adorning my body with garments and accessories that express my mood and attitude is very important to me. I've used the blog on many occasions to show off the work of top SL designers, but today I wanted to highlight one of my longtime favorite RL fashion houses: GUCCI. Classically sexy and sophisticated, Gucci is a label that has stood the test of time, while always producing exciting and edgy fashion for women that aren't afraid to be noticed. Bold use of color and gold finishes is seen all throughout their Spring/Summer 2011 collection. The work is polished and refined, but with a definite sex appeal and wearability. Another look that really makes me feel HAPPY...

And as per usual, it all started with the bag. The FLESHTONE staff sent over these EXQUISITE "Kelly Saddle Bags" and I literally rezzed and cammed them for about ten minutes. Do you see the texture? I mean, how realistic can you get? The hardware is available in both silver and gold finishes, but of course I went with the latter. They are the PERFECT scale; they aren't too big, and they aren't too small. The "Kelly's"are most definitely a must have...

The skirt is new from Zaara, a brand that's always been very near and dear to my heart. I love these mini-skirts with the delicate ruffles, they feel like a bit of a departure from her normal aesthetic and they're perfect for spring. I was also looking for a reason to rock this new fedora from {mon tissu}, and all the green tones really lend themselves nicely to eachother. So many new releases...so little time. This look was totally organic in the sense that it pretty much styled itself. The newest pieces from So Many Styles are what I consider to be casual perfection; perfect for mixing and matching and able to be dressed up or down. This time of year is perfect for structured blazers and cute tanks, and Irie is on trend with her own added flair as always. The hair is new from LeLutka and I think it's one of their prettiest in a long time. The fullness and volume set it apart from other similar styles, and the rich brunette tones compliment this skin beautifully. "Patricia" is my husband Tairo's latest creation for our SaVy Skin's label, and it's quickly become one of my favorites. I love the lips and the sunkissed skintone; the face is modern but classic at the same time. And last but not least, Mikee over @ M-STYLE just sent over these AMAZING new GOSHI Pumps done in sexy panther prints. Everybody knows that I love a pop of animal print, and these COULDN'T BE MORE PERFECT...
