I'll keep it short today; a few of my current and past obsessions paired together for an easy, chill look. I've really been digging everything Steffy Ghost has been designing for her label Jack Spoon. Her work feels fun and youthful, while managing to remain structured and polished. This Santana Top was love at first sight for me; I saw it on her flickr page and it made my heart skip a beat. The best thing about Steffy's work are her price points: this top was only $50L and it's the most expensive piece in the line. The rest of this look is simple really; as per my usual I opted for some unexpected bold color choices and prints, but for me it all feels organic...and oh

So Vegas was great, but it always takes a day or two for me to get back on track after a vacay. My body is still in 'kick it all night and sleep all day mode', and with the heat in my city being borderline UNBEARABLE, these perfect little shorts from Maylee over at The Secret Store are right on time. I love the colors in this look, and how nothing probably goes together in a traditional sense, but for me-it all just FLOWS. And FYI...for the next couple of weeks I'll be logging in predominately on my SaVoyNightfire Dash account, so if you need me or just want to say hey-that's where you'll find me. I'm finally focused on prepping my first shapes collection for release, and I can't take snapshots on SaVoy Nightfire without crashing. For as long as I can remember, I've been madly in love with FASHION. The idea of dressing and adorning my body with garments and accessories that express my mood and attitude is very important to me. I've used the blog on many occasions to show off the work of top SL designers, but today I wanted to highlight one of my longtime favorite RL fashion houses: GUCCI. Classically sexy and sophisticated, Gucci is a label that has stood the test of time, while always producing exciting and edgy fashion for women that aren't afraid to be noticed. Bold use of color and gold finishes is seen all throughout their Spring/Summer 2011 collection. The work is polished and refined, but with a definite sex appeal and wearability. It's a rarity for me to wear an ensemble the way a designer presents it. It's my humble opinion that as a fashion blogger, I have somewhat of a responsibility to showcase not only items available for purchase here in SL, but also unique and original ways of pairing pieces together. That being said, excuse the hipocracy of today's posting...because every once and awhile, I am ASSAULTED by the beauty of a content creator's work and I can't bring myself to alter it. This design by the POWERHOUSE duo Vitabela Dubrovna and Precious Restless for Vita's Boudoir is truly remarkable. I love vivid textures, colors and prints; ones that make you want to run your hands up and down the garment. The shoulder pads and tentacles give it a futuristic and edgy vibe, while the bodysuit itself is sexy and vibrant. With a MASTERPIECE like this, you have to keep the rest simple. And while this mohawk hairstyle is simple in theory, the work behind it is exquisite and the best in this style I've seen in all my days. Neveah Niu for ICONIC Couture Hair never disappoints when I'm in need of an upper echelon coiffure that stands out from the rest. This hair is supposed to include a shaved hairbase, however mine wasn't inside the folder and Miss Niu wasn't online last night (o.o). I'll wear it once again in a future post to show it off in all it's glory. And no, this isn't a "ready to wear" ensemble that you'll go shopping and have coffee with your girlfriends in, but it's DEFINITELY an avant garde look for when you're feeling particularly badass; and one your significant other might enjoy peeling off of you...

I hadn't intended on documenting this look, but when Tairo saw me in it he said "I like that fit baby, you look like a rich girl." And as usual, he was right. The ensemble definitely looks rich, and it's due to this exquisitely crafted poncho by LeLutka. Boasting a built in ao to control your arms, it's quickly become one of my favorite statement pieces in my wardrobe; and I can honestly say there's nothing else on SL quite like it...
