No contest-one of my FAVORITE groups on the planet; I fell instantly in love with Florence Welch's voice the first moment I heard it years ago...I believe her to be our generation's "Janis Joplin." And much like F.A.T.M, I was instantly love sick over Rolland's (Vanguard) label. It's rare that someone gives us the HIGHEST of high fashion, but in a very wearable, accessible way. Rolland has done just that and I know there are even more amazing things to come. Thanks to everyone who has supported me and the blog this year, and to anyone who has taken time out of their busy lives to type my web address into their browser. I am preparing to go on a much needed vacation, and that includes a bit of a vacation from Second Life and blogging as well. But that's not to say that I won't find a moment during a late night or early morning to do a quick post.

Happy Holidays to you and yours, regardless of who or what you believe in.

Vibe..."Don't Speak" by No Doubt...I read once a long time ago that this song was autobiographical; she (Gwen Stefani) and her boyfriend at the time who was also a part of 'No Doubt' were breaking up. There's a rawness to the lyrics and her voice that makes this beautifully painful to listen to, and the acoustic version really just pushes everything to the next level. I always LOVE music when you know there's genuine emotion behind it...
