And it's not too late to get involved in the ULTIMATE Style Card Fashion Show! Business owners, designers and more can still show their support and LOVE for "Relay For Life" by becoming advertisers. With the addition of the 'Wild Card Option,' designers that haven't previously joined a **UNITED** team have the opportunity to have their creations both worn during the fashion shows AND sold at the "Relay For Life" store. Prissy Price is excellent at welcoming new participants into our **UNITED** family, and rest assured:

Teams have been formed, and I'm excited to see what these DYNAMIC designers and models come up with for the main events. And I want it on RECORD that when I got to make suggestions for team pairings, that I did put Vero Modero and Ranena Olivier Couture together. I am so in love with this dress, where do I begin. 'Puma' is sophisticated and highly detailed; the structural collar calls attention to the neckline, while the rouching and ruffles drag the eye down the frame. It's the perfect length, and the color (which I like to think of as fire engine red) is show stopping. And what's better than a feminine, red, ruffley cocktail number? Juxtaposing it against a masculine, classic fedora takes it to that next level. ROC has released these new hats as part of their male line, but wearing male items has always been ok in my opinion. Style is style, and Ranena has constructed some of the most perfect fedora's on the grid. It would be who of you to grab a few for summer; not only are they super-chic, they're affordable...

This beautiful gown was created by one of our most recently added **UNITED** designers: PhAnToM Ixtar for the label GIZZA. Colorful and full of movement, this dress is sure to get you noticed at your next event. It's exquisitely crafted and comes with floral accents for both your hip and hair. GIZZA is filled wall to wall with beautiful gowns, fun casual and clubwear, menswear, and more. The hair is one of my all time favorites by **UNITED** designer Mirja Mills for EMO-tions. Mirja makes such unique, distinctive hair; hair that doesn't look quite like anyone else's and makes you feel special everytime you put it on. Lastly, the jewelry is from Sonatta Morales VHC. Great pearl sets are difficult to find in SL, and this one is one of the lovliest I've seen. I'm really enjoying styling with the work of our **UNITED** designers, and I'm growing more and more anxious to see what they all have up their sleeves for this summer's most exciting fashion event and styling competition...

Prissy Price; producer, entrepreneur (and shopaholic fashionista amongst other things) has proposed a challenge of sorts to the ENTIRE Second Life fashion community: If designers can come together on a STYLE CARD, why can't they come together on a LIVING model in a fashion show? Exchange their creations and concepts with other content creators to build one fabulous look? Well if the initial response is any indication, the answer is a resounding YES THEY CAN! I am HONORED to be an OFFICIAL BLOGGER and consultant for this ground-breaking event, the likes of which our SL grid has never seen. Apparel, shoe, accessory, hair, pose, skin and shape designers collaborating with the industry's TOP models and entertainers to put on an EPIC series of shows spanning July 8-10, 2011. And perhaps the BEST part is that ALL clothing from the event will be on sale in the "UNITED" store, and ALL proceeds will go directly to 'Relay For Life.' There will be FASHION. There will be MUSIC AND LIVE ENTERTAINMENT. There will be FIERCE COMPETITION. INTRIGUED yet...?

This project excites me the most because my passion is truly styling and pairing. The thought of AMAZING designers collaborating on a cohesive vision really speaks to me. So as I keep you posted on the progress of the **UNITED** event, I'll highlight some of the participating designers with looks I've put together in honor of their GENIUS. I think you all know by now that I LOVE a fabulous monotone look. And this particular look all began with Ranena Olivier's PERFECT black cocktail dress. If you've never visited *[ROC]* it's high time you made the trip. She does gowns, urban casual, shoes, and everything in between. The collar is from an ensemble by Simone Udimo of Java Fashion Designs. She has a store FILLED with ridiculously affordably priced pieces and ensembles that will make you look twice at the price tag. The shoes are from Zinnbrick, designed by Monique Zinnemann. I'm a sucker for a well-made animal print and the color hud was surprisingly easy to use. The skin is by my husband Tairo Parkin for CHANGING FACEZ & SaVy SKINS, and I think we all know how I feel about him...=) And last but by no means least, the jewels are from Jewelry By Zuri, the pantyhose are from Sonatta Morales, the belt's +plus and the hair is by the ICONIC one: Neveah Niu for ICONIC Hair Couture. Neveah has just released several new styles that are definite head turners, and I'll be showing them all in my next post. I'm excited that her talent will get even more focus than it already has received; she is truly one of the most talented hair designers in game...
