No contest-one of my FAVORITE groups on the planet; I fell instantly in love with Florence Welch's voice the first moment I heard it years ago...I believe her to be our generation's "Janis Joplin." And much like F.A.T.M, I was instantly love sick over Rolland's (Vanguard) label. It's rare that someone gives us the HIGHEST of high fashion, but in a very wearable, accessible way. Rolland has done just that and I know there are even more amazing things to come. Thanks to everyone who has supported me and the blog this year, and to anyone who has taken time out of their busy lives to type my web address into their browser. I am preparing to go on a much needed vacation, and that includes a bit of a vacation from Second Life and blogging as well. But that's not to say that I won't find a moment during a late night or early morning to do a quick post.

I'll keep it short today; a few of my current and past obsessions paired together for an easy, chill look. I've really been digging everything Steffy Ghost has been designing for her label Jack Spoon. Her work feels fun and youthful, while managing to remain structured and polished. This Santana Top was love at first sight for me; I saw it on her flickr page and it made my heart skip a beat. The best thing about Steffy's work are her price points: this top was only $50L and it's the most expensive piece in the line. The rest of this look is simple really; as per my usual I opted for some unexpected bold color choices and prints, but for me it all feels organic...and oh

Today's look is definitely simple, but there's nothing plain about it. The dress is brand new from ISON, and Harry was kind enough to drop me a copy on Monday. I apologize for the delay in blogging, but RL has been hectic this week and I'm just getting back on track...but I digress. The dress is sophisticated and polished; the cut outs under the bustline make it special and unique, and the color is probably my favorite shade of green. It's also being made in red, white and black I believe, (is that right Harry?) but this one is available now at TFG. Also available there is this GORGEOUS Satchel by LaBlaQ. It's vintage and on-trend at the same time, and the buckle details and texturing make it a stand-out piece. I kept the accessories to a minimum to let the stars of the show shine; some simple jewelry and one of my favorite shoulder trench's finish the look, because sometimes less is indeed more...

There have been an overwhelming number of note-worthy new releases over the past couple of weeks. So with my final exams and semester finally over, I'm excited that I'll have more time for styling and pairing. 75% of the time I'm wearing skin made by my husband for our brand CHANGING FACEZ & SaVy SKINS, but even before Tai started making skin I was a DEVOUT Beauty Avatar Couture girl. And as they've transitioned to Glam Affair and become even more wildly popular, I've still purchased their skins that suited my shapes faithfully. "Layla" has a lovely face; she's basically "Mary's" younger, more sophisticated little sister. She looks STUNNING paired with Truth's latest release "Teshan" that I think is youthful and beautiful; the way the waves frame the face is PERFECTION...

The clothes are pretty simple, but I'm in love with every piece.

The cardigan is from Willow; I've complimented Weezy time and time again on her work and how delicate and soft her items look.
